Feeling miserable today -Need things to cheer me up,

Afternoon all, just come back from the dentist after having 2 teeth extracted,  Feeling is now coming back, ouch.  Can't eat ,can't drink anything hot, (coffee I need coffee) . Can't smoke for 48 hours  (I know I shouldn't anyway)  Unfortunately the teeth were from different sides of the mouth so I look a bit like a chipmunk.

Somebody tell me some jokes to cheer me up or just a funny story,

Our dentist only does two if they're on the same side.  Have you got any pain killers in case it's sore later?  Try and breath through your nose so you don't suck cold air into your mouth.  Hope it heals soon.

Thanks Petal and CG made me smile, can't laugh it hurts, I have plenty of painkillers, taking time to work though,  to top it all dentist accidentally knocked the crown next door off, so I have to go back again and have that sorted.  This is a foreign dentist who seems to find it difficult to understand me, I did say wouldn't it be a bit of a pain to have both done, but he thought it was for the best, sadly I haven't seen the same dentist for years its a different one every time I go.  Next time I am going Private so I can have what I want done not what is quickest or easiest for the dentist, thats if I have any teeth left. Going to take out a different insurance otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it, Dental prices, a whole different story........................

Thanks guys feeling much better now, just had some yummy scrambled egg, Dentist told me not to drink hot liquids today but back on the coffee tomorrow, thanks for all the funnies

Feeling better today, so onward and upward, already been to work, been back 2 hours, done 2 loads of washing put it out, hoovered and polished living room, done the dishes and now starting tonights tea. -  Darn I'm good.   oh don't make me laugh it still hurts, - thanks guys for the funnies.

Feeling a lot better now, should be on solids at the weekend, great, that's a good job as hubby is treating me to a slap up meal while we are away, I know where to come when I need cheering up again.

Glad your feeling better, teeth are a miserable business coming and going LOL,LOL. you need to be spoilt and it sounds as if you will be!!! Its nice to hear a hubby treating his wife as she should be treated!!. Enjoy yourselves ((()))
