I must admit that I love all of my  pressies.  At the moment, my favourite is the pair furry slippers I'm wearing at the moment because they are lovely and warm.

The perfime my husband got me, we have been looking for it for years.

Also a large decorated wicker cone my mum made just have to find somewhere to hang it.

Oh and the china cheese dish that goes with my china that my son gave me.

We wont mention the handbag from my aunt.

I dont but my son has .....

Although he is quite grown up he was miffed when he could not find his childhood collection of Roald Dahl books ....last seen around 14 years ago ....convinced that that they had been given to the charity shop by his dad .

My daughter was here recently going through some her belongings that have been stored for years and found the books amongst her boxed up items . She decided to wrap them up as a joke present ...

Son was thrilled and declared them to be his most favourite Xmas present ....quite what he intends to do with them is a mystery ...

Love most of mine, but best is a fleece that looks like a sheepskin jacket.  Boy is it warm.

some lovely warm pyjamas from OH, not glamorous but up here in the freezing north who wants glamour, just being warm is a luxury. Got loads and loads of chocolates - will never get through them as don't eat many sweets but they were all given with love.

maybe we should send our chocs to wskneil...after all no chocs in that household!

my favourite was my Channel #5 from OH. I can only wear two perfumes, I muck up the rest and they smell horrible.

I was lucky to get prezzies wasn't I? even the duff ones!!!

It's OK CaptainB! We don't buy each other presents and in fact i did get a box of Green and Black little bars which I gave Jan to wrap for me as a present from Olivia about 5 minutes before we started unwrapping all her presents.

I gave up Christmas many years ago and have only recently started bothering when we had Olivia to bother about. My perfect Christmas day was about 15 years ago. I spent all day building a motorcycle, had egg bacon and chips for tea and spent the evening listening to music and drinking some belgium beers!

Told you I was a real Bah Humbug!

Christmas can mean different things to different people. I get really excited about it and then when it comes it's nearly always an anti climax. I sometimes wish we could get away somewhere to just have a rest and enjoy the peace. But it would upset my parents if we did.

Very true Stan. If we are going for non materialistic things then my best pressie this year was having my 8 month old first and only grandchild at the Christmas dinner table. I cooked and mashed his first ever Christmas dinner and he enjoyed it bless him. I love him soooo much 🙂

My daughter in law got me a huge saucepan for jam making. Probably because I kept borrowing hers.

I know what you mean about kids photos being a reminder of how much they grow year on year.  Grace is 4 today and it doesn't seem two minutes since she was born.

oh I'd love a go at archery, I probably don't have the strength in my arms and shoulders now though...

Calibra...that is such a lovely prezzie, I bet that dinner was all over the place hahahahaa!!

If I can have two, then as well as the perfume, it's a wrap a dear lady off FHG sent me, it's so warm I'm like a kid with a fancy dress outfit who won't take it off....it's gone all around with me all day...it's so warm and I love it!
