still not 100% sure.

I want a camera for under £200, at least 8mp, 10x optical zoom and digital as well as optical image stabilisation. I want it to be good at taking pictures in low light as well.

I was going to go for a Fuji s1000fd but it only has digital image stabilisation which can turn the pictures grainy apparently??????

Would love one of the better Nikons or Canons but they're beyond my budget.

Dave, have alook at this... this the same camera as mine and is a great piece of kit....it is known as a bridge camera as it bridges the gap between the compacts and full on slr's its easy to use too

That's exactly the sort of thing I'm after Stu.:-D There's a Canon that's similar and gets a good write up in What Camera. I want to get it from a shop though, then I can barter with readies.;-)

The camera I have showed you is around (was) £300 those listed on there would be a better buy than anything from a camera shop I reckon:-)

Guys, guys ! What's wrong with film ? Cameras on here at pocket money prices.

Mouse, besides the added expense of getting the film developed, I like to see the photo's I've taken and be able to decide wether I want to keep it or not straight away.:-)

It's like that old conundrum of how we managed before mobile phones.

that was in Prague, the castle you can see on the top right, and far right is Charles Bridge. to the left is the main bridge into the city which the trams and the traffic come in and out on.
