Ed very kindly sent me a message with a link to the emoticons you lot use on the threads..................stupid me has gone and deleted it DOH!!!!

Would somebody be so kind as to put the link on here. I love the ones you lot use in the chat.

4smileys.com is a good one, try that. On the left hand side is a range of categories.

you can just punch into google free smileys and there are tons of them.

I've saved them into a file so I can call them up when I want them.

I love having access to all those smilies, but I have a little problem.  When I go to the next line, I am getting the / backslash.

Anybody know how to stop

Also the line jumps to the next line like above.

Jesse - I can only suggest a trawl through your settings. I have no idea why you are getting the / at the start of the lines.

Where is the slash key in relation to your return key, it looks as though when you press the return key it presses the slash key, give it a bit of a dusting, or brush it with a toothbrush.

Hi Ed, no I've got a French keyboard, and the / is not next to the return key.

/  I only get the / when I click Entreé (Enter) to go to the next line.  It's happening whereever  I post online; in emails etc. 

I have to keep deleting them! (Have just deleted two).  

Once I have deleted a few, I can hit enter, and it doesn't 

appear  again, 

but 

I can get this sudden jumping from one line to the next before I have finished (as above).

It's bizarre.  I don't really want to delete the emoticons, which are saved in bookmarks, and besides I think this might still happen, but it only started after using the emoticons.  It's obviously not happening to other people though, so it might be my computer.
