we used to live just across the estuary from Conwy castle, it was great on bonfire night we got the whole 9 yards for free!!! spectacular show of fireworks and no cold feet!!
you must come and see the castles, there's tons of 'em, I'm sure we can find one to fit!!!
The Isle of Wight has great castles & forts folks. As well as pretty harbours & lovely beaches 
I often go to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, which runs concurrently with the Tattoo, & EVERY night when the Tattoo fireworks go off, I jump & say 'WHAT the heck.. ..??' #neverlearn
I did go to the Tattoo, as a teenager - it was great, but I've not been recently. The memory I have is of absolutely fantastic Chinese lions & dragons, & drumming!!!!
