Tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of the beginnings of Dr Who and my son is getting quite excited about watching the programme tomorrow night with his dad.
I watch Dr Who sporadically
My favourite Dr was the one portrayed by Jon Pertwee but have loved the last ones - Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith.
Who is/was your favourite Dr?

Sorry guys but I love it always have, my son does too and it's about the only thing we watch together, Hubby is being chucked into the kitchen tomorrow night (he can't stand it) so we can watch it in comfort.
Sorry my favourites, John Pertwee and David Tennant.

I have been a big Dr. Who fan ever since I watched it on our PBS channels in the US. My fav is my first doctor..... Tom Baker. I love his quirkyness. Though when they brought the series back with Eccleson and then Tennant it is hard to choose. They all sort of have their own uniqueness. 🙂 I am such a fan I stayed up till the wee hours watching the first series on BBC4 last night. I even recorded it to watch again. Can't wait to see John Hurt as the Doctor. 🙂 Think he will be super. 🙂

Peter Capaldi is the next doctor isn't he, not John Hurt. I love it & the programme last night was really excellent.

I watched it as a kid, from behind the settee, like most my age! but I'm getting a bit fed up with the constant 'trailers' on the telly! You would think there was nothing else on this weekend!
I won't be watching it btw!

It was Count Arthur Strong as the ciberman, Arthur was supposed to have been an actor, years ago, but wasn't a very good one,. He moans and complains about everything. If you listen the ciberman is complaining to himself all the time.

Hours of fun "

Don`t know why all the fuss over an out of date childrens programme.

We were all children once, I for one remember Doctor Who from when I was a child and boy has it changed.
I shall be watching with my son, but hubby is off to the kitchen to watch something else as he can't stand it. After all there are some very good intellectual programmes on other channels tonight, X Factor, or Celebrity, both of which I don't watch.
Have fun those who choose to watch, and those who don't, have fun too.
It takes allsorts to run a world
