OK, long story but I am knitting a striped jumper, and I though I had ordered 3 balls of yarn and I hadn't - and they are now sold out so I searched everywhere as it is discontinued and last night found a shop that had three in stock, so I ordered them only to receive an email this morning that they only have one ball and not the three listed.
I found another place in the USA that has it, but they want $47 to post me 100g of yarn and that is stupid $57 in total £28 in postage costs on £6 wool. ( the postage would almost double the cost of the jumper).
Just in case there is anyone out there who has a friend in the states that might get this for me and post it, I would be very grateful.
Or in case some one fancies a challenge and can find me 2 balls of Rowan cashsoft 4ply in the colour Jewel, it would really make my day and save me unravelling half a sweater.

Well, I've just tried it and it's saying I can order 10 so far.
She needs to change the quantity in the box - it's not saying it only has one ball left.

I also found another site in the UK with just one ball so she could have got one ball from one place and one from another if she's not worried about dye lots.
I shall try and find the other site again.

Did I mention Royal yarns international? $14.99 shipping

Thank you, thank you all.
Royal Yarns it is.
Not worries about the dye lot as it is a stripped jumper, knit from the top down, so Jewel at the top and a Damson at the bottom.
Starts off with 15 rows of Jewel and 1 row of Damson, and then gradually you decrease the rows of Jewel and increase the rows of Damson.
If it had been normal bottom up jumper I could have sunstituted a lighter colour, but now I don't have to.
Thank you all again - you lot are amazing

I can't find that other site - really frustrating and very very bad of that uk site to not update their quantities - it means people are buying things that don't exist.
And then there is that US eBay seller who ships all over the world but not the UK (or a few other countries) - must have had some bad experiences selling to here.
So if they can't get someone to help on the US community boards, or there's no-one here who can help, apart from Royal Yarns there is that cheaper one on the big river site.com but I can't find out what their postage costs are by just looking (Hotyarn) $5 a ball.
Some of the US websites need careful scrutiny too because they only charge when they parcel the item up, so you can effectively give them carte blanche to take whatever cost from your card without being able to do anything about it.

So happy you've sorted it.
Have you got the order in ok?
Very very annoying with that UK site - they need a rocket up their selling practices.
We should invite them here to learn a few things.

Yes I have ordered it thank you.
Tell me about that site - it's suprising as I know the programme they are using for their shop (Actinic) and have used it for myself and others it's very good, so it's the owner who is at fault for not adjusting the stock properly. Very annoying and unprofessional.

Such a shame that US eBay seller would not ship to the UK either.
Very odd the few countries they've blocked.
Brazil and Russia - yep, known problems.
Little ol uk???? Nah!!! We're all lovely, ain't we????

Just to ask - being a bit nosey - did the wool turn up yet?
