Does Nothing Happen Anymore On Here?

This board has been more or less static since the boards changed, hardly anything

has been added or responded to.

Does nobody come on here now, has everyone gone to Facebook to talk or what's happened?

Is anyone coming back?

Morning all.  I was on holiday from the day they took the boards down and was very surprised at how little activity there had been whilst i was away - then I realised the boards had had quite an extended holiday as well.

We are missing a few peeps on the Good Morning thread, all welcome!

PS Wales was sunny, hot and happy

Its a busy time of year, certainly for parents.  That and the weather is probably keeping people elsewhere.

There are so many places people can go now though.......

I'm just back from Brazil but did manage to post on some threads whilst there.

It's hotter here than over there where it is winter!!

 It took 36 hours to get back so having a go-slow day and catching up with the boards.

I'm sure it's a combination of new formats, hot weather and holidays keeping people away.

Agree the smilies are rubbish - must take a lesson from those on the sewing thread on how to get the old ones again.

Also can't find out how to preview your reply before pressing the Post button -  anyone know.  I like to read it through first for typos.

At the top of the reply box Mumsie.......there are three tabs...click on the 'preview' one and it shows you your post...to get back to edit it click on the 'rich text ' tab and it returns to your original post so you can change things......

is also a fan of 'correct it before folks notice' option ....

And if you are like me, and always spot a typo immediately AFTER pressing the "post" button, you can click on the options box and it will let you edit the post

Wizi - that lightning was not my picture, that was Patch's picture.  Haven't had any thunder here - yet; from the forecast that looks like it's going to change overnight tonight though!

By the way.... currently 32.8°C in my attic study, quite comfortable, window is closed as always...

Thanks Twishy. I did find those 3 boxes on the reply box yesterday after I had posted, but today I've just got a box to type my reply in and no tabs!
I'm sure it will all get clearer as the days go by.

Just had a terrible thunderstorm with rain going down the road like a river. Thought it might clear the air but it hasn't, still very humid.

Hi. It is a bit quiet here - everyone must be enjoying the sunshine/royal baby telly/last days of school....

Mine have just finished today. I'm not really ready for them to be at home for 6 weeks!

It's harder finding things to do now they are older.

Well, I haven't really got any news to report, lol. Just hope everyone comes back to fhg soon xx

I've been around the new boards, went to the US ones while this was offline!

But the whiteness! Aaargh!! Went to the opticians today and got fitted for some anti-glare glasses
