Diabetes Test.

I am having my fasting test tomorrow morning for Diabetes and have to fast from 8.40 tonight. Thing is it ok to have my medication as i have to take this at 9.20pm. I suppose medication is not really food is it?. Someone on here must have had a test so perhaps would be able to inform me?.

The best person to give you advise should be your doctor ....

No one here knows your medical history or the type of medication you are taking ...seek correct medical advice from someone who does know.

You can take your meds with some water that will not harm your test at all.

Ohhhh thank you, i did phone the surgery as i thought i had best like in the first answer. And thanks hansrey, yes they told me fine and to drink plenty of water.
