Anyone know how much a proper full set of dentures would cost please.
I had some before, but cheapo nhs ones, and ended up with a mouth full of plastic, and I ended up binning them
I have tried googling but cant find a site that gives any prices.
My hubby got some with posts in his gums for them to snap onto. It was a very long and painful job and cost £6-7k. He's sailed through two lots of chemo and radiation without a murmur, but he said he wouldn't go through that dental work again. He still gets food under them too! I don't know what other kinds there are.
Both my parents had ordinary NHS ones, both top and bottom and both seemed to get on ok with them. That's what I'll get if/when the time comes.
