No, I didn't forget - but what I could say was constrained by "himself" eavesdropping - he doesn't know that they are operating on the cysts, just thinks it's my normal Friday clean out - I will tell him AFTER it is all over.

I work on the principal of not telling him anything until the last possible moment - stops him worrying and saves me being nagged at.

He's not exactly very observant, but even he has noticed that my hands aren't working properly.
