Just received this, the weird thing is I taxed hubby's car online yesterday. The wording is a bit of a give away.

All the usual signs of a phishing email.
Some sort of threat and a link to avoid it, they are all the same.

That's what they are intended to do but is also the giveaway.
If you are being rushed into something, chances are it's a scam.

Another one to watch out for is one making out that you have won a supermarket gift voucher.
Then asks you to answer a question, usually what type of music you prefer.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the email, you can see it is from an address in the Phillippines.

I have a load of those that go straight into my spam folder. They never get opened but do get deleted - often - very often.
