I guess the Royal Mail price increases are making sellers think outside the box......or envelope in this case 😮
Believe it or not this is how a lace and chiffon dress arrived today....:_|
I could cry :_|......vacuum packed so it would fit in an A4 envelope...*sob*
22-05-2013 2:20 PM
did they mention it would arrive vacuum packed?
i have heard it advised on SC i think
can it be resurected?
22-05-2013 2:34 PM
No there was no mention of vacuum packing Towery.....
I've hung it up in the hope that some of the creases drop out and then I'll have to try steaming it,the problem is that the chiffon is self pleated so I could end up steaming those out too...:-(
I think a bit more thought should have got into the packaging....I paid £6.70 p&p so expected it to arrive in a bag at very least.....not flat packed as a large letter X-(

😮 Oh no twishy........how did they state they were sending it within the listing (i;e letter/small packet ) and what did they actually charge you.
Hope you can rescue it ?:|

Sorry cross posted................I'd be contacting the seller to see what they have to say and would certainly be thinking about the star rating you're going to be giving IYKWIM

I'm on it Stan....
and I haven't had any choklit today so I'm well in the mood for a scrap X-(

i'd email and ask for their precise instruction for getting all the unwanted creases while keeping the proper pleats
was it an ebay sale?
postage price is well out of order, it should have gone medium parcel for that price

sounds like a man sort of packing

Is it washable? You could try swirling it about in a lot of warm water (warmer than lukewarm) and then hanging it up to drip-dry

twishy...that would be laughable, if it wasn't fact !
I'd be kicking up stooshie...shocking all round X-(
Go lick a jaffa cake or summat...

That's dreadful twishy. At £6+ post and packing I would be thinking and expecting that to be a medium packet and probably sent in a box.
The seller has kidnapped one of MrsStan's giraffes 🙂

Definitely complain about the packing & the postage!
