I have an Aunt who is 75, and lives on her own, she doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, doesn't eat chocolate or use bubble bath, she knits her own hats and scarves, she doesn't sew or paint, she doesn't wear perfume or makeup. She has a car, but has all the bits that go with it, triangle, torch etc. She spends a lot of time in the garden, but we have done the garden thing for years and have even started having some of the presents we have given being given back to us as presents.
She lives in an old cottage, that is full to the gunnels with furniture and old china and paintings so anything modern would look out of place.
We have always given a garden centre token but last year the look we got said - oh dear not another token.
We are at a complete loss what to get. H E L P

Gordon Bennet, I can't stop laughing, nipple tassels edible thong, chocolate body paint, oh my lordy if you knew her, she would have a heatattack after she found out what they were. oh what a christmas that would be.
Maybe I will stick with the Calender and slippers.

My mum (not quite 75 yet, but not far off...) is very funny about gifts ("landfill") so I switch vouchers for the hairdresser she likes but thinks is to expensive and vouchers for a beauty salon that she never goes to herself as she thinks is too expensive - that way, she still gets to complain but it's something that gets used 😄 So I vote - hairdressers!

Hi Captain, other aunt pays for the TV license, good idea though.
Think I will do the hairdressers voucher, and probably a calender so she has something to open..
Some of the more risky ideas would be hilarious for us but I don't think she would approve or find it funny.

You could book me to go and pick her up on the Duke and I could take her for a nice gentle spin

Oh my goodness not a motorbike, my husband turned up on his R1 a few years back and you would think he was going to rob the place, even though we have been married for 25 years.
