Ever since I was young I have wanted to spend Christmas as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Canada.
But as I get older Christmas on the Beach in Bali or Fiji looks more appealing.

It's Banff for me, I love snow and I just wish I could spend a Christmas in Austria or Switzerland and go to service at midnight in the snow, have presents by the fire with snow outside, oooooh it would be lovely! then Christmas dinner looking out at the lovely landscape and snowballs on the lawn in the afternoon.
Perfick!!

Couldn't agree more Maggie. I know that I've said this many a time but the best place for snow is a Christmas card and that's where it should stay.

I would love either. I love snow and lovely scenes of snow/mountains etc,
and penguins! But I also love the sea and summer and swimming in sea,
so to do that on Christmas Day would be amazing.

Been to Bali on stopover to Australia. Stayed 3 days & couldn"t wait to leave. The people are lovely but not my place to spend xmas. I like the tradional style. Cold, little bit of snow. Xmas in warm climates, just not the same. I"d definately go for Bannf.
