I am from the London area and thinking of getting into car washing.
I have all the equipment to start all I will need is to ask the customers for water. I was thinking of going round knocking on peoples doors asking if they want there cars washed.
I will charge £3-£4, how many people do you think will say yes to me? Also do you think its a good idea?
Thanks

I'm not in london so can't take you up on the offer, but I would certainly pay £3 - 4. Why don't you check on other peoples prices first because I don't think you would be charging enough. You could still undercut the opposition, but don't rip yourself off.

You would need good insurance too.

Sorry to sound harsh , but are you a 10 year old hoping to make some extra pocket money? If you are it sound like a good idea. If you are an adult trying to make a living, you need to look elsewhere, or work out a proper business plan

Didn't someone else post a similar thread a while back? Also, I think that they were coming up with different ideas of how to make money.

To keep your car clean, the best thing is to leave it out in the open. Not in a garage.
The open air will send down rain, which will clean the car.

You're right Gina. I think that it was dog walking.
