If you had a income of approx 24.500 after deductions and had 3 kids all under 5, what would your monthly payment be?
I ask this for a friend and he gets 400,00 a month up to July 13, as now its been increased to 463.00 a month, and another another friend I have, they have similar earnings but got a decrease of 37.00 pounds a week! She rung up the tax credit office to ask why the decrease and they said that's right???

But do they have the same amount of children? The more kids you have the more you get, not a huge amount but you do get more

Plus you get less once the child reaches a certain age I think

I am fairly certain that the direct.gov site has an online calculator - you answer a few questions about about income, names and ages of children, child care costs etc. and it comes up with a figure of what you might be entitled to. A search on google should find it

Streety - kids are all under the age of 10 with both families, both married and one parent works!
stroppy - I know there is a calculator and my friend worked it out and it says she will get so and so amount but when the renewal came back its less by app 37 pounds a week she phoned them up and they said that the calculator is not always right and only a guide.
Something not right here,
incidentley she checked with entitled to com and it does say the same as her renewal form, but why pay one more and one with the same kids etc.
