I hope that Benny continues to thrive as I think that he's lovely.

He is books but he has had a run of bad luck and had three OPs now ! First one he had a growth removed from the back of his neck, benign thank god, an OP on his leg when he broke a tendon and then he had to have his tail removed because of that growth.
He is over thirteen now so hopefully no more bad luck befalls the wee soul.

Aww bless him. I hope that everything goes well for him from now on.

Not sure Sam but if he is missing it he does not show it. Vet has always been surprised that we have put him through the OPs as we have no insurance and as she said he is a mongrel. He is our mongrel though and the Son of our beloved Suzie who we had to let go to Rainbow Bridge to play.

CB, he is eating us out of house and him and you only need to spell O U T and he is up and off to the door. He looks fine to us and as you say even more Corgi like now although Suzie had her tail right up until she went to play at Rainbow Bridge as she was a Cardigan Corgi.

Soooooo cute.....
Dogs do recover remarkably quickly and he will soon be back to his normal self ...wont even miss his tail.
Its more of a worry for the owner but sure you will be spoiling him rotten...

it never ceases to amaze me how quickly animals recover from surgery or illness. I remember one of our cavvies had a bad neck, two tablets later and she was wandering about as if nothing had happened!!!
and as for their reduced diet dog food...well I wish I could take it, it works so quickly...hhhmmppphhh
