I have just been upstairs to put the washing away that I left on the bed, wonder where the dogs are I wondered, yup you guessed it curled up fast asleep on the washing, in a pool of sunshine.  Animals don't you just love them.

How to paste wallpaper......25 easy steps....

1. measure correct amount of water into plastic container....

2. remove cat from sink...

3. find stirring stick...

4. retrieve stirring stick from cat...

5. remove second cat from plastic container of water...and dry paws...

6. snip corner off wallpaper paste...

7. push cats off worktop...

8. sprinkle wallpaper paste into water..

9. chase cat and retrieve stirring stick AGAIN...

10. stir, now lumpy paste, briskly...

11.fend off cats with feet and elbows...

12.put paste in cupboard to keep cats out of it whilst it thickens...

13. remove cat from said cupboard...

14. wash cat...

15 apply sticking plasters to injuries...

16. lay cut paper on table...

17. remove damp cats...

18. paste paper with large pasting brush..

19. remove cat from pasting brush...

20. fold pasted paper..

21.put cats in different room (brainwave!)

22.take pasted paper upstairs..

23.remove cats from other room to avoid cruelty calls to RSPCA due to heartrending noise and banging as they throw themselves against the door...

24.race cats upstairs to get to unprotected paper first..

25. remove cats from steps and hang first piece of wallpaper...

Simples....

I could be wrong, but have a feeling that wallpaper paste is toxic for cats! something to do with the fungicide in it. Please take care when papering just in case I am right (has been known for me to be right, just a rare occurance!)

The last dog we had used to lie in the middle of the bed when we were trying to change the sheets.  Trying to make the bed could take up to an hour as it was a game to him right up to a couple of weeks before he died.

Don't worry...that's why I washed it straight off them before they had time to lick any off or absorb it throught the skin...they didn't really get that much on them to be honest....

Well I've got the bathroom done and am very pleased with it....it's now very 'beach hut' instead of Japanese bath house....
