she comes out of hospital because she has been told no lifting of heavy items or hoovering with a heavy hoover.
I know she would NOT listen and just go ahead and hoover with our bagless hoover so bought this Gtech power sweeper for her to use.
Having just used it myself I would recommend it for sure for anyone that finds using a heavy hoover troublesome. It is light with an adjustable height handle, quite powerful having lifted dog hair from the carpet, rechargable so no cable to drag around behind you and although the receptacle is quite small it is easy removable to empty it.
It cost £50 but in my opinion well worth it if it saves OH causing herself more harm than good and if it keeps going for even the warranty year again worth it in my opinion.

Nearly choked on my tea and then realised this reply wasn't to me.

Same here. Mrs WSK has abdominal adhesions and when they flare up she knows she shouldn't try lifting anything. Does it stop her... does it buggery! I'm forever telling her not to lift the hoover, the highchair, the Olivia but she "forgets" .Then it's my job to feed her dihydrocodeine till she itches! Bless her xxx

I know CB ! All that over a hoover !!!!
What would it have been like if it had been a washing machine or some such thing
.
WSK, those tablets are what my OH has as well as Extra Strength Ibuprofen, in fact the house looks like a Chemist now with her tablets and mine for diabetes. I hope we do not get a visit from the Police for anything as they will think we are drug dealers .
