Mandy, don't take your slap personally! If you think it is unjust, then you can appeal it. I've appealed all of my nine (yes, nine :_|) from yesterday.
Forward a copy of your slap to alan_uk@ebay.com and tell him the reason why you think it was unjustified. If it was for the reason I think it was, then as Patch said, you may not get a satisfactory result. (I notice at least one of your posts were also removed, Patch yesterday evening - probably my little "chum", so I'm sorry you received a slap on my behalf, and thank you for trying to stick up for me, I did appreciate it) :-x
I know who my BPer is, and I have reported him/her for interpersonal dispute violations, which are not permitted on the boards. Sometimes we are just unlucky to pick up a little follower who takes a dislike to one thing you might have said, then turns it into a vendetta. It does become bullying (mine certainly has done) but if you've only got one slap, then you've got off lightly. There will be more to come in the future, if you're unlucky, and regrettably sometimes you don't even know what you've done to break the rules. Generally though, if you keep within the rules you'll be fine - I've been here on and off for several years (not a regular) and I've received more slaps in the last few weeks than ever before, just because someone has decided to dislike what I say (don't even know why, I don't contribute anything particularly scintillating) :^O
Don't fret about it Mandy, and hope you feel better today! You shouldn't leave just because of one person. You have made a lot of friends on here, and they are 99.9999% all lovely - just the odd one causes a bit of conflict, that's all. In your case, I think it is not even a BPer, it was just picked up by a mod or an automated system of some sort, so you shouldn't worry that someone is being malicious. 🙂

This is now to become part of history, more than enough has been said, we've all had our chance to voice our own opinions and say what we wanted to say 🙂
I really haven't enjoyed a minute of it, quite the reverse 😞 but it's all done and dusted now 🙂
Maybe it needed to happen, sometimes these things do, they're not always a negative thing 🙂
