I'm sorry to hear that Mrs. Stan - is the invalid ok? Now the worst bit - you have to nurse him now. That CG's got a great sense of humour - naughty girl.

A friend of ours had major heart surgery at the CCU at Broad Green. I've been to Broad Green but to one of the orthopedic clinics. Parking used to bad there but I've heard it's even worse now. Hope that Mr S is feeling better now.

I think that it's ridiculous what they charge for parking at hospitals. I didn't do too badly yesterday as we only paid £1 as we were there for less than an hour. We have two hospitals and the parking charges are different at each hospital. The hospital I went to yesterday, the first 20 minutes is free. However at the other hospital, the first 30 minutes is free. I just can't work it out. Both our hospitals have made thousands on parking. As the car parks aren't owned by the hospitals, the owners of the car parks are raking it in.

I hope that Mr Stan and Mr CK are soon feeling better. I bet both Stan and CK were worried stiff over their other halves.
Why do men moan when they can't do much after major surgery? About ten years ago, my dad had to have his right kidney removed due to cancer. He was a right whinge for a while after because there were things he couldn't do. He's doing well though now and he's 85 today.
