I am not a broadcaster so it has to come up in conversation, or daily situations.

I did leave a window open recently on another forum, which someone opened and said ..."oh, is this what you were reading"? How boring.

 i am open.my oh,family and friends know that i read and chat on the boards:-)and yes if they were to read these they would probably think them boring but it it gives me something to do and help from like minded people then i am not harming anyone and what has it got to do with them anyway.:-D

OH sometimes says he feels like a FHG widower and as some of my customers regularly have to wait for a drink while I finish typing out a sentence I think you could say I am well and truly outed as a poster :^O

Everyone who knows me knows that I regularly post here.  In fact, my mum very often asks who is on the FHG board.

My immediate family know but I don't think anyone else does.  They've never asked and I've never thought they'd be that interested to know really, it's not a secret as such.

I do tend to call it the 'sewing' threads to stop any sneaking in or anything but they all know! Maggie has met my mum, OH & sons. 🙂 I have spoken to several people at home & at work .....and my husband is strangely fixated with what Stan is up to always! 😐

Most of my friends and family know I 'chat' on 'the boards'.  I'm always saying. 'someone on the boards did that/had one of those/ went there, etc.  I think some of them think I'm sad, but that's ok, I enjoy having a laugh on here.  If I ask hubby's advice on something he'll say, 'Ask your women, they'll know.'  waving a hand in the direction of my lappy, which is always on.B-)

My friends and family know that I post on discussion boards but non of them have ever asked me which boards or what my IDs are.

I have a sister in England two years older than me who has never used a computer and will telephone me in Canada  to look stuff up for her.

kids have seen me on here but not really the rest of my immediate family

some other people wonder where i get 'ebay news' from so i have usually just said the forums or Q&A  as was
