April MDCC

Aprill MDCC starts this Sunday the 28th of April, are you joining in and if so what goodies are you putting up for grabs.

I have some flower seeds plus some veggie ones and maybe a shabby/chic heart ,will have a root round to see what else may join them.

Looks like some bidding wars going on this month

I am not listing for Age Uk at the moment as it seems they have enough people raising funds for them at the moment - what I am going to concentrate on is raising funds for my Daughters  Special needs Day centre - though social services part funds the centre the clients have to fund the rest themselves

The money will be spent on materials ie clay, or crafting items so they can make hand made cards or pottery which they can sell to raise even more funds at their open days and coffee mornings

This gives them a sense of independance and pride in their day centre

I will be listing a Debbie Moore cd Art Deco Rome, a selection of Mens toppers, some dog and cat decoupage papers by Hunkydory, and a couple of other things

one of my cats is expecting kittens any day now and they NEED a fishie to play with, indeed they need 2 or 3 or 4 fishies to play with !!!

Guess whose keyring disintegrated this week and no spares around the house!.

My alter ego, meerschwein03, has listed a couple of items.  Nothing hand made - can't remember the last time I had enough evening to sit down without falling asleep! LOL. Knitting patterns on one though. If i get time tomorrow may take a look through the stash but the teddies and ducks have totally vanished!!!!!!!!!

Some really nice stuffseems to be appearing so shall keep an eye out though will probably end up bumping rather than buying.

Got another pair of Enid's famous socks BUT this pair actually looks like a pair insomuch as they actually match all the way down 🙂 Pretty impressive huh? They're also more human sized which is always a wee bonus!

Also got another of himself's birdhouses made specially for MDCC, bless him.................

This one's for the more discerning feathered friend - best suited to the smaller variety like bluetits, wrens or even a skinny spuggy!

Been given a bag of embroidery threads / tapestry wools that might come in handy for somebody that's handy with a needle

One for the gardeners - some shooting roots of Filipendula, pretty pink & frothy, tall perennial, handy for filling up a space quick!

A wee Tilly magnet  🙂

Possibly a salt dough chooks key holder plaque thingy - can't decide yet!

Probably other stuff seeing as it's FLD - well, it would be rude not to, wouldn't it 😉 - not MDCC but all for Ellie's Fund anyway 🙂  Got a lot on today so depends how I get on.

Bit tough this one - it's a year today since Ellie went to Rainbow Bridge 😞  Still miss her so much but hopefully, the Rainbow Garden will be a lovely memorial.
