Anyone used TV screen cleaning wipes?

My flat screen is filthy.
Had a look on google and there are special sprays and solutions to use, however at PC world they sell TV wipes.  Just wondered if they were any good.  I don't want to ruin my TV

them and the spray is ok but you must do it on cold screen .

I just give mine a wipe over with the dishcloth!  It's right above the sink in the kitchen!   :^O

On LCD it seriously recommends you don't use water or any household cleaner and only the soft it came with.  My TV was a family xmas pressie a few years back so I want to be careful

yes streety ours is lcd and we use both spray and wipes but if you look closely the screen does scratch quite easily.:-)

And something about damaging the pixels.  I'm scared to touch the thing :^O

Having enthusiastic dogs and flying toys sometimes, we have a baby tv screen protector - acrylic that keeps the screen safe. Expensive but worth it for peace of mind and ease of cleaning too 🙂

Try your local £ shop as ours stock lcd screen wipes that work very well but as stated only use on a cold screen 😉

I'm with CG ............ I clean mine with a damp dish cloth, I think bought some wipes aaaages ago but still use a damp cloth  😐

I didn't know about the "only clean a cold screen" ........ I wipe mine while its turned on 😮 thankfully I don't appear to have done it any harm but I will heed that warning from now on 🙂

Can someone explain the difference between cleaning an LCD & an LED screen? How can you tell which is which?

I use which ever sleeve is cleanest ....:|

A little cloth came with mine & it said to dampen it & wipe the screen from side to side.

I sometimes spit on the cuff and swipe at it in concentric circles 😐

Yes ....... but if you got peckish ya could lick the screen 😛  ....... or maybe you just wanted to create a Sepia tint to your screen 😐
