Hi mustard,

I`m not a plumber so can`t answer your question, but if you go on the Argos website and look up any tabletop dishwasher, theres a Q & A section at the bottom of the page.

This has a whole range of questions answered by plumbers.

You do need to be able to make a junction from your nearest water source (under the sink). 

You run a pipe from there - but I put a small tap on it (at work surface level) for my friend so that it had a 'stop **bleep**' of its own.

Oooops ... sorry about that.  The plummer's term for a tap that stops water isn't allowed.
