Am I strange....... I don't like Christmas cake.

I like the marzipan but not the fruit cake or icing.

Anybody else or is it just me?

Pix I would have picked it up & dusted it off. I don'r throw out food unless I have too. I grew up with rationing.

No, Patch - it was pretty well smashed to smithereens. Possibly I didn't put enough alcohol in it - might have stuck together a bit better 

I really couldn't face picking out all the dusty bits and crumbs of food that other people had dropped on the floor, crisps: bits of cheese and ham. Bleurgh! I couldn't even ask in-laws to share their half, as they'd already gone home by then

I like Christmas cake, the marzipan, and icing as well.

Mince pies are nice, but I can't get a taste for Christmas pudding, hot or cold.

I don't do the cake or the pudding but I do like mince pies...too much really....

Not a big fan of Christmas cake or pudding. I do like the odd mince pie with a bit of cream though.

Funny that - for years I made daughter her own christmas cake from leftover icing and marzipan.  She hates fruitcake!!!.  Now I just buy a chocolate log LOL

Our christmas cake is currently hidden in my wardrobe!

We never have Christmas cake, I do like fruit cake but the special occasion ones taste burnt to me.  We didn't have a wedding cake either, OH hates marzipan and neither of us like icing!
