Yes, it was Lourdes via Paris ( one night stopover each way and four nights in Lourdes ).  Apart from the obvious in Lourdes itself there are quite a few places of interest nearby; nobody will be surprised that the Pic du Jer funicular was one item on the list.  Also visited the caves at Betharram and the Donjon des Aigles.

During the first Paris stopover we went to the Panthéon as Yola wanted to visit the tomb of Marie Curie ( Yola being Polish ) and Louis Braille ( Yola being partly sighted ).  On the return stopover we took in the view of the Seine at Asniéres.

Hmmm... I see Momma just nicked the ½ snipe...

Walked a mile to a specific shop today as I needed to talk to the actual owner about something he knew about only to find he no longer opens at weekends; then walked to his other shop only to find the other bloke was on today instead...  Grrr....
