A rather miserable Monday teatime eats

Rather miserable outside and looking quite overcast although I thought the weather girl this morning said sun for the vast part of the day - perhaps I was still in my dream state LOL.

Anyway for tea tonight is the left over chicken from yesterday's lunch. Jalfrezi with pilau rice and a tomato and lettuce side salad and raita for me. Chicken and vegetable pie for teenager.

Its turned out quite blue skyish and crisp in Maidstone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, been in town all day now later i will have Fish Pie and some variety of Good ole Veggies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

We've just had turkey, mixed veg and gravy.

We've had a clear blue sky here all day and it's still mighty cold.

Roasting a chicken and veg and having creamed sweede. 🙂 Will do some other bits to go with too.

Cookie that sounds yummy. Is it homemade? Any chance for a recipe please.

Gorgeous day here, not a cloud in the sky, cold though. Been out with a friend all day Christmas shopping lovely day.

Left over beef from yesterday made into a pie with carrots, savoy cabbage and roast potatoes.

Pork chops slow cooked with apple and squash.  Mash and veggies.

Have been cooking some beef with onions in the slow cooker ....going to have it with roasted carrots and some broccoli and courgettes .......looking forward to that .....

HYPO??? 

What's for tea at 3pm.  When's te ready at 4pm.  Jumping up and down saying when's tea ready at 5pm.  Just before tea is ready at 6pm he announces he is low and downs the fruit juice, followed by his tea and a lump of stollen cake, followed at intervals by another couple of lumps of the stuff. Nope we so do not want a hypo.

Too expensive, way too expensive, That's more fruit juice and cake to buy tomorrow!.
