Wish I had know that yesterday, when I made lemon meringue pie, eggshells seems so thin these days and it makes it difficult for me to separate them with my arthritic hands

Will definatly try that next time, it's brilliant and so simple. AND doesn't cost anything and don't have to buy another usless kitchen gadget to take up space

Be prepared for a lot of broken yolks until you get the knack of it - I saw it on a cookery program before Chrimbo, most of the celebrity chefs broke the yolks. Apparantly it takes quite a bit of practice.

I got one of these for my daughter for Christmas.  I thought my 11 year old grandson would appreciate it..........................and he did!!
