Not much to know Sam !

A 60 year old dumb lorry driver not much use for anything else. That once wrote a lorry off in a blizzard on the A9 trying to get back down to load with supplies for people up north that were running short after having taken one load up.

No Sam, it is for our ADR and CPC, the ADR is a certificate to allow us to carry dangerous goods (lorrys with orange plates showing) and the CPC is a new thing that has come into force, Certificate of Professional Competence which if you do not have you are not allowed to drive 7.5 tonners or above or like Fishie a coach or bus.

Some companies pay the cost of you attaining the certificates and others do not.

I had no idea at all, don't the firm you work for help out at all, alright I understand if you were self employed with your own lorry or coach etc but when you work for someone else & don't have any say in what you carry it seems unfair or am I being stupid here?.
