item returned back due to incorrect address

hi all

I sent an item in good faith Royal Mail international signed for, to an address in Toronto Canada. It has been returned as the post have said the address is incorrect.. "Incorrectly addressed. Returned to sender."

I used the address supplied by the customer. Seems legit as per Google maps

If I refund the item, do I also refund the postage paid

should I offer to resend the item and ask the customer to pay, it seems this would not be anymore successful than the 1st attempt.

just not really had this before

thanks

I think someone would have answered this sooner if you'd posted under Discussion > Selling. Since you are still selling here goes...

You used a Tracked service so eBay counts attempted delivery as actual delivery. You've done your job. End of. That said good Sellers who receive an item back like this will usually refund the Item Price (less the postage and fees). Then add that Buyer to their Blocked List.
