Ebay used to have a 'wanted' process but removed it.  That may have repercussions for a post like this one.

What do people wish to buy on eBay?

Well who would have thought that someone would want to buy a broken laser pointer, but someone did, and that was how eBay started with that sale.

People want to buy anything and everything,  broken things, brand new things,  antique things, modern things,  with 7 billion listings on at any one time, everything you can think of to sell  ( legally!),  is probably on eBay.

If you Google Best selling items on eBay,  there are very different answers, for me personally showing that anything and everything goes!
