ordered an item from a seller that I have previously ordered from in the past on several occasions. Never any problem and received the items. This time they posted an order through Royal Mail via Amazon. When I checked on the tracked delivery it says the parcel doesn't belong to me. I'm furious, but also can't stop laughing. Lived where I do now for 30 years and never been told that. I paid for the item.
I suddenly don't own a parcel that I paid for and to the address I've lived for years. Hey, if that's the case I wonder if I could do that with bills. Say they are not mine HaHa. You have to laugh or you would cry!!
If the parcel does arrive I won't accept it. Tell them to return to sender because it doesn't belong to me, as I was told. I mean, I don't want to accept something that isn't mine (Apparently), even though I paid for it. I could get in trouble for receiving stolen goods!!
Oh for the good days when life was much simpler. Now having to jump through hoops to get something I ordered and paid for. Apparently it isn't mine though!! I just can't be bothered.

I like Unbelievable but True as a theme, especially for service related stories.
Recently I was on bus replacement service for a major train line. They gave us a schedule at the beginning of the journey. After several hours it seemed like I wasn't going to make my connection, so I asked 'Is the bus running late? I was told 'No, the bus isn't late. The schedule is wrong.' You couldn't make it up!

My train was 40 or so minutes late due to some line failure, conductor kindly announced that we were all due a refund to claim online via .... com etc.
OK thought me, I'll do that, and received back on a £40 + fare,....... 89p !
Going to paint the town red now @style_wise 😁
