Spam Email!

I've received a very genuine looking email saying that I had purchased a smart TV for £1,153.75 from adam-8 today (4th July). I mistakenly opened the email but I haven't clicked any of the content. I've checked my bank balance and all seems OK. The email address they used was an old one and isn't connected to any finance. I've changed my password, just in case. What other actions do you suggest that I do? Thanks

Better to ask these questions of an IT expert. In the meantime:

Mark it as SPAM and do not interact further.

Update your Anti-Virus softwear and scan your device.

Change all your passwords, starting with email and banking.

Check for unusual activity, for example on your bank statement.
