Im writing this post for all new and older sellers who has ever been scammed or may be in the future(as we all know it happens).
I want to write here about situation that recently happened to me.
Seller with "0" reviews and brand new account has purchased a brand new item from me thats worth over £700.
Because the item was so expensive i was sceptical about this purchase from a new account however a buyer is a buyer.
I sent the item,few days later the item arrived and after another few hours buyer has opened a return request "items is defective or doesnt work"(everyone seller knows what that means.
He sent a photo of the item in the darks so I was actually unable to even verify if its my item however there was a few little things on the photo which proved me that this was actually different item.
I have contacted the buyer to send some more photos in the light so i could veryfi the item and have to photos for future reference-no answer.
This made me think that something wrong is going on.
Buyer sent the item back and after few days i have finally got it.
When i have received it,the box seemed a bit light. After having a bad thoughts about it before opening it i have made multiple photos and set up a phone to record an opening of the return.
For my suprise the box has been empty.
I have contacted an ebay through the phone and explained the situation-they were very helpful. I have got a declarataion form for my email to fill and sent through a link with relevant photos(you cant upload videos. Before that they put the case on hold for 5 days as well(i had to call second time the next day as the agent forgot to put the case on hold first).
After one day the case has been closed in my favour so no return had to be made by me however ebay still returned the money for buyer from their own pocket which i think is just allowing scammers(we have to call them like that) to do it. So if you have proof,ebay will stand on your side even everyone says it always stand on buyers side.
