Hi, I sold a jacket was sent via the Global Shipping Programme and eBay confirmed to me that they had received it. Therefore this item was delivered to where I sent it. I do not know the actual address of the buyer.
The buyer has opened a case and my funds have been placed on hold.
The onwards shipping from the GSP depot is where it has must been lost. This is down to eBay to rectify.
It is not my responsibility to refund via Paypal when I sent to the only address I knew, and I have confirmation that it was delivered to the GSP and sent onwards from there.
Anybody had anything similar happen to them and did they end up paying due to a GSP issus. The amount in question is £161

If you have proof that the item was received at the UK hub then your responsibility ends there.
If the item was lost after that then it is Ebays responsibility to refund the buyer/chase things up.

Just to add to the good advice given, if the buyer opens a case for item not received, you'll need to contact eBay Customer Services and inform them this was GSP item, they need to take it from there.
