Funny how all the private sellers are moaning about the recent changes on Ebay lately. So many are clearly business sellers who buy things to sell on Ebay. Private sellers should not have the same benefits as business sellers eg Able to send coupons, Multi variation listing basic shop not forced into free postage. Some of the moaning making silly threats about removing their listings and going else where is not going to happen Especially the ones who have been private sellers for many years and with hundreds of free listings. The changes have been a long time coming Ebay needed to change the way private sellers operate on the site. Instead of moaning simply register your accounts in the correct way eg register as a business which is what so many are and the changes will not effect you. These new changes are impacting genuine business sellers at the moment. There is no better place than Ebay to sell. When you do things right on the site there is no issues. If a buyer does not receive an item you are responsible not Ebay. If you choose not to do things in the correct way on Ebay it is your fault not Ebays. I have been on Ebay for many years. I have 4 accounts that I use. I get items not received like everyone. I dont get warnings or restrictions because I follow the rules to sell my items. Bottom line is everyone is here for the same reason MONEY. So stop moaning about the changes and trying to blag that you are a private seller and get on w

There was a topic a few months back where one of the private sellers (if I remember rightly they were a business on a private account) took a look at the business seller fee pages and said people should ‘run for the hills’ rather than pay those fees.
It made me laugh as a statement but as much as some sellers want everything for free like that, I can understand their aversion to paying for these shop subscriptions.
It is bad news for eBay as many are running for the hills straight to places like Vinted. Surely they need to get with the times and stop throttling growth with these shops. I want them to open the site up so there are no form of insertion fees and businesses on private accounts might choose to stay here and do things the right way.

Sorry but that is simply libellous. There is a vast antiques, collectables & household market in private sellers. It is a permanent & changing scene as families grow & members die. The Inland Revenue is more than capable of investigating tax fraud, which is the root of your post.
