New messaging Service

New messaging Service

I did not click TRY IT so why eBay forcing me to use the new messaging, if eBay are going to change something just do it don’t convince people that’s it’s an option when its not

Clicking to TRY IT is NOT TRYING IT it’s converting to the new messaging permanently

As there’s no way back and if you don’t TRY IT eBay will move you anyway

Re: New messaging Service

Yep,  it's here to stay for one and all.

Many are reporting their dislike of this new messaging format,  you are not alone.

Bottom right of my messaging page is a link to leave feedback.... Update messaging feedback.

All you can do is to leave one star and explain your thoughts on this new messaging system.

Re: New messaging Service

I have already spoken to an agent about it recently and voiced my opinion about their IT gurus turning a working format into something very user unfriendly thing.  Agent tried to help to change message format back to classic but none of it worked. Was asked to sent sent screenshot and received reply from CS a day later that the new message format CANNOT BE CHANGED BACK !

Left appropiate ZERO FB about my opinion in the box ......

Re: New messaging Service

I totally get your frustration! It can be really annoying when eBay presents changes as optional, but then forces them on you anyway. It feels misleading when they say it’s just a ‘try it’ option, but there’s no clear way back if you don’t want the change. Hopefully, eBay will take this feedback seriously and give users more control over these updates in the future. It’s always tough when these things happen without proper notice or choice.
