GSP Tracking shows the item reached the hub but buyer opened a request and now EBay want me to resol

Some time ago I sold an item using the GSP. The out of the blue the buyer opened up a "request" , I checked the tracking and it had reached the hub although the hub did state that they were delayed. The blue line , now looks like the items moved but I'm being pressurised by EBay to resolve the issue.

My thinking is that as it shows the item has reached the hub that this issue is out of my hands , am I right ?

You need to be extremely careful how you handle this as you could be seriously out of pocket if you try to handle this yourself.

Your buyer needs to open a case for not received and you respond with the tracking number proving delivery to the UK Global shipping hub – you should have actually put the tracking in to the transaction at the time of posting.

You cite that according to Global T&C you, the seller, are not responsible for any loss or damage in transit once it has arrived at the Global hub.

GSP Tracking shows the item reached the hub but buyer opened a request and now EBay want me to resol

I sent an item via GSP on 01/08/24 , I forgot to enter the ref number on EBay . Double checked the GP address and sent it to GSP via Royal Mail 48 tracked.

Buyer opened a request , but it showed that the GSP hub had it and were running late. As time passed and today I've found out that the item is with the Royal Mail Northwest Hub. What has gone wrong? and what can I do about it ? Nearly impossible to actaully speak to someone. Advice gratefully appreciated .

I'd be worried if the RM tracking hasn't updated for almost a month. Personally, I'd call Royal Mail and ask them what's going on there, if you phone and select the 'complaint' option you seem to get through to a person, not a machine.

Thanks for that , I've been on the phone all day , finally got hold of Royal Mail who told me that the post office where I sent it from entered the wrong post code, however I was advised that if the address is correct ( and it is) it will be posted to the GSP hub . It's taken me all this time to find this out , I've always trusted the P.O but now will have to double check it.

My buyer has opened up a request and I have advised him of the situation and just hope he'll be able to wait a little longer.
