Hi , I've got a listing which will finish tomorrow evening .
It's currently sitting on 0.99p with apparently 4 bids all from the same buyer and all for the same amount !
I'm confused as to how this can happen .
Can anyone she any light of this please ?

It's the same bidder increasing their max bid price but the actual price won't go up until someone else bids against them.
If you click on where it says 4 bids on your listing you will see details of the bid history.

It is a crafty way some buyers try to give ‘back off’ signals to other bidders.
What they are hoping is that other bidders will think their max bid is so high that it isn’t worth competing. I’m not sure it really works very well most of the time, it depends on the item.
I don’t have an issue with it unless someone starts going stupid, my tolerance for it is about 5 bids, then I’ll consider retracting them.
