more fake USB drives

I have recently noticed an increase in high capacity USB drives for sale at very low prices a 2Tb drive for £8 for instance I knew they could not be genuine at that price so as I was intrigued I bought 4 from different suppliers to find out what they were, one supplier didn't send the item and ebay refunded the money . I have now examined the drives none of which have 2Tb capacity. They are formatted with exFat and a compression algorithm that shows 2TB but a 150Mb file takes up 4Gb of space suggesting a real capacity of 64 -75 GB , because of the compression copying is also glacier slow at 100-150 Kbps the 150 Mb file taking 10 minutes to copy on USB3.2. Because these drives are not manufactured to the tolerances necessary for such high capacities it means they are extremely unreliable and are very likely to lose data . Ebay should clamp down on the sale of these as they are certainly fraudulent . ANyone bought any?
