So the search on ebay has got a lot worse and now most of the results point to items in the USA with postage 4x more than the original item. I cant filter out the USA. Poor state of affairs so Im going back to Amazon, usually a little more expensive but you get them the next day.
ebay STOP LIDTING USA over the UK and other European countries.

Use the left hand sidebar filters to select 'UK only' to solely see items based in the UK.

I always do that, but unfortunately this filter Ebay still insists on showing the items from the International sellers. I suppose at least they sort them so that the UK items are shown separately at the top. Small mercies I guess.

I noticed it too!..Type something in the search results from Ebay UK and all Americas search results pop up.

Its a NIGHTMARE!
I cant believe something that should be VERY SIMPLE, is completely broken here on ebay.
When we are shopping on eBay UK it should show all resutls form UK and Europe..
We should NOT see anything from outside of Europe unless we want to and select to do so.
Just when i thought things could not get any worse here, for such a big company this website is becomnig a joke.

getting this problem myself, this problem amongst many others, people that will say something like 'don't sell here then' or 'don't use ebay' as if that is the answer.. that is why these big companies like ebay begin to take the p.. because they know that option is basically non existent regardless of how bad it gets

What left hand sidebars?
29-10-2024 6:32 AM
When you add the title of the item you are searching in to the Search bar then clicking on Search, down the left hand side you have various subject matters that you can include / exclude.
Scroll down that left sidebar down to Item Location, and tick UK only.
Might also be worth ticking under the heading Country / Regioon of Manufacture >> United Kingdom, as many Chinese sellers themselves registered in China but their item locations are the UK. If you wish to exclude these too.

That left hand side-bar is missing.

I can't even change the settings now to UK only. I browse a lot of skateboarding items-and when going throught the ususal Sporting goods/skateboarding tabs i no longer have any options down the left hand side to filter location to UK only. The only options are along the top and are price/condition and a couple of others-useless.......

Same with me-no longer have all the options to filter-useless.......

Try the right hand filter of 'nearest first'

Laughable isn’t it 4 x postage than the price of the item hahahahahaha positively barmy when you can get half the stuff and more here from royal mail
this is trump and other idiots like royal mailmmaking it all stupid
cost an arm and a leg to post to usa now
Gsp is the pits too price wise for buyers
07-03-2025 11:59 PM
I don't want nearest first-i want items for sale in the UK and the options that used to be there
. Even when i did have the options before all this *bleep* started it would show a lot of stuff from China-sort it out Ebay.

We bought items selling under Nile_UK_Store, but the seller seems to be based in USA.
They updated the posting with the tracking code, but the tracking code is displaying ERROR, and unfound item even after 5 days shipping.
Should we be worried on the purchase? If they sent wrong item, then how do you get refund when the return postage to USA or other foreign countries might be over the top?

Is there a UK location on the listing? If so that is where the item is located, and that is where the item is posted back to at the seller' expense, if there is a fault with the item on receipt.
It's the location on the listing that's important, don't be fobbed off with sending it back to the seller's country of registration.

The seller's name is The Nile UK Store, but the item was located in USA, it says.
We thought Nile UK Store is a UK based seller, but it seems not the case.
It is very confusing.
The posted item tracking is not moving at all, and it will be another 2 weeks until the arrival date.
Not sure what is happening with the tracking of the item, which makes us anxious about the delivery or the fact that right item was posted to us. When the tracking of the supposedly posted item is not progressing properly, this is what we feel about the item in its content and delivery, and even worrying about how to return it, if it arrived and found out to be totally wrong item was sent. Or if it will even arrive at all.

They are a UK company based in Herts but some items are dispatched from USA with a longer delivery time.
The tracking not updating for a few days is a common issue,if you don't receive your item or it's not as descibed you can open a claim 1 day after the estimated delivery date

Usually after searching there is an opti9n to say how you found the process. Fill it in "1*, don't make me select my own country to see items from my own country. I dont want items from China or and i cant aford the postage from the USA."
