Won 3 items but cannot pay for them as they have vanished???

Put an offer in on 3 separate items from the same seller yesterday evening ,all 3 offers were accepted(had emails saying offers had been accepted) but the bizarre thing is they have vanished and I cannot find them anywhere in order to pay for them.

I always pay instantly and kept checking and refreshing my purchases until I went to bed last night and nothing. Thought ok,some glitch which would be sorted but now just before 6am the day after "winning" the items and still cannot pay as no sign of them anywhere.

Go back to the seller's page (the items should all be in 'recently viewed') and see if the items now appear in the seller's 'sold' items.

Even if your offers were accepted, the listings would remain live until you paid for them.

It is possible that somebody just bought them or the seller accepted offers from other members who paid before you got the chance.

Thank you and not a clue what on earth is going on to be honest and never had anything like this happen before and am worried in case I get 3 non paying strikes for these.

Have got Ebay on my phone but the functions are limited but on my PC top right next to the shopping cart is a bell type icon.  Hover my mouse over that and a box appears with a greyed out box with a 3 in it and by the side in red is PAY NOW with You've committed to pay under that.  Click on that and it takes me to my purchases but the 3 items are nowhere to be seen only my previous purchases.

Very strange.

This happens when ebay remove items and/or the seller's account for listing policy violations.   Are you able to view the seller and their current items?

Ahhh ok,that would kind of make sense.

Unfortunately I deleted the emails and Ebay messages/notifications and do not remember what the sellers ID was but will have a look through my watch list to see if I had any of their other items in there as if I see the seller ID I will remember.

Found the buggers and not as I would have expected in my Purchases but still in my Watch List.

No indication that I have "Won" them until I click on the item and get this----


The seller accepted your counter-offer of £18.00. The item isn’t yours until you pay. Go to checkout before time expires or someone else buys it first.


In all my years on Ebay, 20+, I have never encountered this before but all sorted now and thank you to all who commented with your suggestions and help.

Or some new feature that nobody wanted or asked for knowing Ebay with their constant tinkering.
