Once again Ebay have been playing with buying options with the result that it is *bleep* (previous state, in this case less efficient) at best now! Do you have too many staff in this department that have to keep toying with search options to justify their job?
Simply put I live in the UK and will never ever buy anything from overseas via Ebay. others might but I will not. With that in mind unless I do an advanced search to enable shipped from UK only, everything can come from anywhere in the world. Add to that if you see anything with shipping price that will change the moment yopu open item in new tab. More importantly it stops customers searching and finding items in their own country in aa reasonable amount of time if searching from the "shop by category" drop down menu. Often only a handful of items for sale in the UK but 10's of thousands world wide.
In the last couple of weeks where this has been active for myself it has cost your customers several sales and you interest from those sales just from myself alone.
Please stop being narcisstic and let customers choose how they wish to search instead of your employees trying to show how important they are and deciding that they are better placed to make those decisions.
