If they are a private seller just selling unwanted items and you just don't want the product then yes they can decline it. You are free to sell the item yourself though.

eg: just destroy the items and claim you received them like that...

Mmmm, me thinks if that is your way of returning items for a change of mind reason, that is, to damage destroy them and fraudulently inform a seller it was damaged on receipt , many peeps here, will be placing you asap, on their blocked buyers list !

I don't think you understood - I requested return and accepted outcome.
I could have done something else (some people probably do, I don't think all ebayers are as great as you) and I did not. It was an example.
