I want to warn buyers about an issue with eBay's automated system regarding seller ratings.
I recently returned an item because it was not as described (the weight was incorrect). After returning it, the seller updated the listing price and details.
Here is the problem: because a full refund was issued, eBay's automated system instantly removed the negative feedback I left.
This means the refund process can be used to remove honest buyer feedback, leaving future buyers unaware of previous problems with a transaction.
Has anyone else experienced their feedback being removed automatically after a full refund?
