Postage refused

I have just sold an item on eBay and The purchaser has contacted me to say that it cannot be shipped to him (in the Channel Islands). What are our options?

Royal Mail will handle it as a UK delivery --- take it to a Post Office for processing to make sure that a suitable Customs label is attached.
