Order "delivered" - I have not received it.

Hello,

On 24th od November I bought something for my daughter.

Today (2nd of December) it says "Delivered" at 1:38 pm....

I have been at home all day, checked around the house and neighbours - NOTHING.

Delivery is showing - DHL Express Germany.

What shall I do now?

You have done everything correctly such as looking around property,  and asking neighbours,  if to no avail,  unfortunately if an item is left in sight of passers by the item can get stolen,  this may have happened?

All you can do is to open a case for item not received,  but if the seller enters tracking to show delivery the case will close in their favour.

Am I serious?  I am a member like yourself, and I am just explaining / confirming eBay's  ruling and that is if the seller can prove delivery which is shown by tracking,  eBay have to believe that otherwise tracking which is an extra cost to the seller, is futile.

I have no idea what happened to your item,  Can you contact DHL?  I have no knowledge of DHL Germany so cannot comment on their Customer Services.

In my post I explained for you to open a case for item not received,  if there is no valid tracking to show delivery, you will be refunded.

Tracking is showing "delivered".

It has not been delivered.

What else can I say?

Does it mean the buyer is left with short end of the stick now?

I contacted the seller (only he can check details with his dhl accunt).

What a mess.

Was "signed for" or "special" no good anymore? (I could not even choose anyway).

Very likely as this is a big hole in the money back guarantee, where seller protection will trump buyer protection.

You could try your funding source.

Correct,   the sender/ the seller, can send you the tracking details which will show if it has been delivered or not.  They can then follow this up with asking DHL  to ask their courier where they left the item.

As said , I'm not, and doubt anyone else here is,  familiar with DHL Germany,  let's hope that your seller can help you more here.

When this happened to me I clicked on the Tracking number in eBay. It showed me all the Tracking details. I took note of which ones did not match my address then I asked eBay for a callback. Check:

- is the photo of your address

- does the postcode/GPS match

- is it your signature (if any)

When I explained to eBay what didn't match, they refunded me. (I didn't open an Item Not Received case because tracking showed 'delivered'.)

If this doesn't work take your evidence to your payment provider and initiate a chargeback. Good luck!

This (hopefully) could just meet that the item has arrived in the UK. (I presume it's coming from Germany.)

I would hope the tracking will update to "out for delivery" and you'll get it today or tomorrow.

I opened the case and this is respond from ebay:

The tracking information the seller shared shows that the package was delivered. Here are the details: 

Carrier: DHL
Tracking ID: 8273850406

This is "no.replay" messqage.

When I try to "get in touch" etc. I am making loops to the tracking or "The seller received your request"...

Tracking does not show my address (just delivered London UK- , I live in Cambridge ??)

What else can I do?

btw- seller is not responding to my messages, he just informed (after I opened the case) ebay with tracking number

WHY ebay tells me to do things they should be sorting themselves  automaticaly??? 

I can not check those details, seller CAN and ebay CAN.

Hi  @bogush75  I gave you a link above to check for delivery updates. you have to put your postcode in to see more than I can.  I understand you are angry, i would be too, but as i so often find out, it achieves very little.

just click the link, and put your postcode in and see if it tells you anything else.

the link you gave me is a tracking I have from seller/ebay and it is showing delivered to London (I attached screenshot earlier).

Where can I put my post code ? (all the details there to check are for sender/dhl account holder only.)
