Not received the item even after one month

I purchased an item on ebay which was shipped on 21st Jan 2024 via Royal Mail (Tracking no. UB742554336GB) to India, Kolkata. 

I have not received the item even after one month. The tracking no is recognized by Royal Mail but it is not showing any information.

Seller suggested that it may be stuck at Customs Department, in India.

Any idea how can I proceed to know the status of the item?

Well spotted, @plpmr  Maybe the OP should not use ebay as there would appear to be a problem with their address seeing as nothing seems to arrive.
